Hi Mr. Chuck,
Thanks for setting me straight on the filing bit. Yes, filing the valve makes a whole lot more sense than filing the yoke.
So now I'm wondering, are your banjos modified to fit the older valves also?

Those valves are made of soft brass. Just scrape it a little bigger where necessary. I did it to several of my real old USD valves, and the banjo fits fine now. Its easy to get a nozzle squashed if you put the reg on crooked, or you can mash a valve face in easy too by not having the reg put on orr center, and tightening the clamp too much!!! Just a simple mistake, but get you a point file from auto zone, and you can scrape, or file it back to normal, in a couple minutes. :wink:
