treasure season about to start

Sun Mar 04, 2007 12:05 pm

While there is still some ice on the waters, soon it will be gone, the water will run off for the big melt, and it will be time once again to seacrh for the paymasters coin box which seems to become an obsession with me since i first tracked down the documents in our national archives.

I have found three out of four general stores which were along the Tay during that time perior, and cannot at this point find the fourth. By finding the location of the fourth, it would narrow down the area of search in the river.

Three of the four supply stations were paid, the fouth was not, nor were any of the enlisted men at the garison 20 miles downriver or their officers.

So there would be gold coin, and script coin to be found.

I am trying my luck with with satelite pictures that do the infrared surveys for the department of natural of resources here in Canada. A old building foundation would absorb heat differently from bare ground, and should show up asa foundation .

So the search continues this year. I may buy a "torpedo" diver propulsion vehicle to cover more ground.. as well as to get the Weeeeeee factor when diving.

So I once again take down, clean, repair and replace those parts which I need, and of course now I can send in my DAAM to become PRAMS. Looking forward once again to :

Hey Treasureman,
I'll be hunting myself soon! If the treasure is on a river, you gotta remember the meander factor of it. The river changes course over the yrs and keep that in mind along with the sediment build up. Keep looking! One never knows what one will find...
