Website Outages.....Problem

Been getting E-mail all day from folks on the West coast saying they cannot see the site....Our admin has looked into it and can find no problems with our servers based in Florida or Texas.. He thinks it might be related to this.

In that time have their been any other sites you normally visit that you could not see ?

The website has not been out....It's the path leading to the website that seems to have issues. Sam Miller is still having problems out west as well.

I could not get in from home or work on wed and thurs or from home on Fri. I am away form home now(coast of NC). Be interesting to see if I can get in when I get home.

William is working on it.....It is very random....Does not affect everyone. It seems to be a mystery right now. If you could E-mail me any details about the problem it would be great.... Page won't load .....Tries to load and times out or any error message you are getting.....Also your location and who your internet service provider is. [email protected] Thank you

Back home and it still does not work. I will email you with the details but it works on the wifes phone and the neighbors wireless I am "borrowing" so it's my provider, not my computers.

So far I have 6 reports from AT&T users who cannot see the site and one from Earthlink. If you guys on AT&T have a way to submit a trouble ticket about it please do...I tried but you have to be a customer with a log in to submit a problem..We will keep working on it...

Still down here but I have found a workaround....a pain in the rear but it works. If you go to http://anonymouse.org and put in the VDH address, you can get here...that is how I just did it. They have a really annoying popup add but at least it will get you here.

It sounds like they had it blocked for some reason due to content. By using an anonymous resource engine like Herman did it would bypass any filter they had.. Obviously it was system wide since I had reports from Oregon, Calif, Kansas, Ohio, Indiana, Texas and from both Carolina's. Wish I could be more help....Hopefully it's back on for everyone.

Back on VDH, Just in time to leave for Hawaii and a U/W photo project with old friends,be back the end of April.
Sorry to miss SD,seems tame compared to PCB last year. But I'm sure there will some drama.
