Did a couple of dives at San Carlos a few weeks ago. No sign of the big great white that hit someone a week or so before, but what can you do?
First dive was pretty cold with plenty of surge. But we came back the next day and had a great dive. Great vis, no surge, no surface waves.
I did catch an ear infection, which my doc chalked up to diving with some residual effects of a nasty COVID case. Even 2 weeks on, it sounds like I have cotton stuffed in my left ear. Never had a problem equalizing, though.
Anyway, I've decided it's about time to retire the old XS Scuba wing. Looking at replacements now.
