Thanks Adair! A great show... I never knew there were so many different kinds of regulators. I had to pause for awhile and reflect on the Healthways Creature from the Black Lagoon Regulator... :roll:

I would like to thank everyone for the messages!
Early last year I fell in love with these wonderful machines. And I started looking for double hose regulators around the world.
I have bought many books on the subject and I have studied very much.
The VDH Forum Has Been a reference for me!
I decided to make a site about my collection. And I sent an email to Bryan asking permission to translate many texts of the VDH. This is why I put acknowledgments for the VDH on the home page of my website.
I hope soon to leave the http://www.CG-45.com in English as well .... but it is easy to navigate through it, even in portuguese.
I was lucky to acquire many rare specimens from various manufacturers and I have made many friends around the world.
I'm CCR Trimix Diver IANTD, Advanced Trimix Diver TDA, Trimix Diver IANTD, Full Cave Diver NACD and OWSI PADI .... but, curiously, I had not the opportunity to dive with a double hose regulator ... YET!
I hope soon to do my first dive with a PHOENIX.
As I put in the end of this video, I'll make a new video with U.S. Divers regulators from my collection:

U. S. DIVERS DOUBLE HOSE REGULATORS: "THE MOVIE" :mrgreen:
Coming soon to a post near you!

Cheers and thanks all, thanks Bryan and thanks VDH site!
:D :D :D

With the help of a friend who speaks Japanese, I got some informations about the label:
1. Self contained breathing apparatus;
2. The Model: S
3. Date of manufacture: 31-05;
4. Serial Number: 120:
5. Name of manufacturer

In the net I found:
"The Toa company was founded in 1909 in Minamisenji Japan. The company made diving equipment and, in 1924, a limited company was created by Kintaro Sano.
Toa Diving Apparatus was one of the first companies to make the helmets in Japan when it got its start supplying diving helmets, suits and air compressors to the Japanese navy.
By this time all types of diving equipment was being made and, in 1944, the Company name was changed to Toa Diving equipment Co Ltd. After a few months the Imperial Navy took over the running of the factory and with its limited workforce of 50 men and women it gradually worked its way up to being the number one diving and equipment manufacturer in Japan . They also specialized in the training of divers.
The Company is still in business to day"

I tried to send an email to http://www.toasensuiki.jp/ and http://www.toa-diving.co.jp/...but no ansewer about more details!

Hi all,
Wrong information!!!!
I received an ansewer from Japan Company: TOA DIVING APPARATUS CO.LTD.

"Mr.Adair,

The company's name is TOA SEIKI CO.,LTD.

Through our research we found out that the company no longer existed.

There are several companies with same name in Japan but they have no connection to diving.

We feel sorry for not being able to help you.

Sincerely,

TOA DIVING APPARATUS CO.,LTD."

Then...my information about the manufacturer is wrong :oops: ....I will do new researches about this company: TOA SEIKI CO.LTD. :shock: :shock:
