U/W photo problems???

Wed Nov 18, 2015 9:26 am

I'm using an Intova Edge X and previously had great results......What happened here? All my photos and videos from the trip look similar. Did I accidentally change a setting or something?

Looks like one of the "IMAGE EFFECTS" settings is turned on - possibly the NEGATIVE setting that reverses the image. Not sure otherwise. My 2 cents. Mark

PS. On second look it might be the ART or VIVID effect as well.

That's a tricky question, maybe we should ask you: did you change any settings?

Is it this bad above water? If not, I would bet you disabled auto white balance.

I would check first those "funny" effects as Negative mode as suggested before, then white balance, then exposure and metering modes (should be wide/average/matrix/whatever-name. Spot metering can be tricky unless you know what you're doing)

Not sure how it got this way but white balance was set to Cloudy and sharpness was set to Soft.....I expect that will explain a few things. It was my fault for not reviewing my daily images in the evening after dinner with the rest of the gang. No great loss as my photo skills are remedial at best and there were a lot more cameras around with more skillful operators all week.
