Tiki Isle Dive Shop

Fri Dec 07, 2012 10:38 am

For those of you that were diving down in the Keys in the Mid to late 70’s, there was a shop in Key Largo, Bill Crawford’s, Tiki Isle dive shop, attached to a Hawaiian themed marina and restaurant. The marina and restaurant closed and he renamed the shop Tropic Isle. He and the boat were in the keys for years even after Tropic Isle closed. Enjoy.

Adair,

Thanks for posting Bill Crawford's Tiki/Tropic Isle Dive Shop, brings back lots of fond memories. Back in August of 1977, I made my very first ocean dive from Captain Bill's into Pennekamp State Park (Molasses Reef from my dive log).

Last I heard Bill Crawford was living in Costa Rica, retired after a long and varied career in the diving industry throughout the Americas and Caribbean.
Too DAAM Many double hoses, It's not a hobby, it's an addiction.
