Pheonix Issue???

Fri Aug 17, 2012 11:44 am

I used to post under Treasureman, but for some reason i just cant get in, In any event I am now :fourtanks". :)

I was diving my Phoenix last weekend about 15 ft of fresh water. It started as all good. Then within ten minutes it was more difficult to get air as it appeared teh volume was being reduced. thought it might be my new tank valve. Surfaced changed tanks started out again. All good for about five minutes and then it felt like teh flow was being reduced. Any suggestions or ideas on what it might be. I am going to send it down to Bryan (its teh black powder coated Pheonix he hates so much) and have him overhaul, and I think I may ask to have it stripped and re chromed. For my own knowledge though Anyone who knows or might know what is going on, I am grateful form your input :D

It's simple.....You broke it.

If you are going to scrap the cans anyway then just send me the internals. I don't need them to solve the problem and I can install an HPR while it's here. When you get it back, put on the new cans, check lever height and go diving.
Doing it right should include some common sense, not just blindly following specs and instructions. .Gary D, AWAP on SB
