watch Project Blue Book on the History channel Feb 18th

Fri Feb 14, 2020 12:03 am

If you want to see some neat vintage scuba gear on the TV series Project Blue Book please watch the History Channel on Feb 18th at 10 o'clock. You may just get to see several double hose regs and other pieces of Scuba gear supplied by The Scuba Museum. We don't really know how much air time the gear will get but it was exciting for us to source the gear. Allan was also very helpful with some great last minute harness making. We could not have done it without a lot of help from Bryan, Greg, Barb, Allan and several others.

I can't share the plot with you guys as I was swore to secrecy.

Dr. J. Allen Hynek is a brilliant but under appreciated college professor who is recruited by the U.S. Air Force to spearhead an operation called Project Blue Book. He is joined by his partner, Air Force Capt. Michael Quinn as they investigate UFO sightings around the country. They use science to determine what really happened to cause the sighting, and some cases cannot be explained. In those instances, Hynek believes he's being duped by the government into a larger conspiracy that covers up the truth. It is set in the Cold War and atomic era, and each case blends UFO theories with authentic historical events.

If I were to take a wild guess I'd say the plot has something to do with 1. UFO's and 2. Underwater. And as a completely random guess I'd say the plot involves, "The mysterious Man in Black kidnaps Hynek, which sends Quinn on a mission with the CIA to follow him and rescue Hynek." Just a guess. :)
"The diver who collects specimens of underwater life has fun and becomes a keen underwater observer. .. seek slow-moving or attached organisms such as corals, starfish, or shelled creatures." (Golden Guide to Scuba Diving, 1968) :D

I cannot say anything about the plot. IN fact I dont even know if the gear will be prominently displayed. I hope so but we will see. The gear had to actually be dive worthy not just display so it was a big deal.
