Rob's Visit, the movie!

Earlier this month Rob came up my way to do some diving. Together we met Surflung up at Fortune Pond in Crystal Falls Michigan. Rob and I dove our Hydroglove dry suits up there. Rob and I also got out on Lake Michigan and dove the SS Niagara off Belgium Wisconsin and the Brig Mahoning off of Port Washington Wisconsin.
We used our Intova cameras for the video used in this production. So without further ado, here is "Rob's Visit"

Great video Jim. I'm going to post it on the VDH facebook page tomorrow.

That was great - especially for those of us that don't get to get in the water very often. Thanks for putting that together and sharing.

Great video. I've never seen a boat launched with a tractor like that before.

Post away Bryan. Glad you enjoyed the video. Got to give Rob his props though. He shot some of the video in the movie. He's in the credits too.
Dale, we've been launching boats that way for many years. The shoreline is unpredictable and a pier just doesn't make sense. With a tractor the water can be high or low. It just gets exciting when your out on the lake and the weather kicks up.

That was a great video. I enjoyed it so much I had to watch it twice.

I really enjoyed the fact that you were new to the Hydroglove and didn't have your trim down pat, but you still dove doubles!!!! My hat is off to you sir.

Thanks for posting.

Great video, Jim.

Was Rob wearing a Hydroglove, with a hood-less drysuit on top of it?

Rob was wearing a Hydroglove at Fortune Pond and a modern dry suit for the Lake Michigan stuff.

At one point you can see the zipper on his back, but then is wearing a latex hood. Maybe it's just a spliced scene.

Really enjoyed the movie. It looks like you've got a fantastic spot there.

My modern drysuit is a viking with a rubber hood. It looks and acts similarly to the hydroglove hood.

Once again Jim did some great video work. Shooting the video is pretty easy. The part that takes talent is editing and narrating the thing and Jim is awesome at it.

The old intova bought from VDH also is quite a neat camera as well.

I am excited to see what we shoot in Mexico in November.
