Birthday Dive

Tue Feb 14, 2023 8:06 am

I just came across some photos of my Bday Dive here in Bahrain in October last year. We dove the Al Boom wreck, a wooden dow that went down carrying bags of cement and toilet bowls. It sits around 18 meters down and has tons of sea life in and around it. Then we did a 8 to 10 meter drift at the Abu Thalma reef. Water Temps were in the high 80's to low 90's. Here's a link to some photo videos and video video's on you tube.

That is one freaking awesome beard! I could never get away with it. :) Kraken looks good too! M

This is my beard of laziness. I went to buy razors at Rite-Aid and they were sold out. I decided screw it I'm just not going to shave anymore. That was 10 years ago. I learned the hard way about not tying the beard and not using hose gaiters. Also, long hair doesn't stay put under water like it does in the movies.

You should try surfing on Lake Superior in winter like Surfer Dan! You'd be a rock star!

I think I'm leaning more towards the "Crazy Rocketman"
