Hookah Attachment

Fri May 31, 2019 3:16 pm

Looking for two "Hookah attachment nuts" to attach a hookah line to two of my Aqua Master regulators. I know I can rig one up at the gas supply store, but one of the blog posts shows a custom made nut that is for this purpose. Anyone got a couple they are willing to sell?

It's the nut used to connect an oxygen welding hose to the torch and regulator. Not sure how "custom" you can get with a simple nut other than material of construction. The welding one are brass.

Is he talking about a hookah port adapter, or something else?

Apparently you don't need the adapters.

That happens to me too, Allan. Usually after I spend two hours looking for something. 😕

Went to the local gas supply house and they fabricated a hose for me. One side has a Quick Disconnect to attach to my air hose coming from my AirLine surface air supply. Total cost of the hose fabrication was $6.95. not including QD. Hose is food grade, 2000 psi rated. I think it will hold. :D Will see if it works this weekend.
