I am always interested in seeing how they are configured to give me new ideas, so would like to see a photo posted.
Thanks!

Pictures are very easy on the forum....Just click he UPLOAD ATTACHMENT, which is right below the Save Draft, Preview, Submit green buttons. Choose the file you want to upload and hit submit. It will be placed in your response. Photos are hosted by the website. I can do a screen grab by screen grab of the process if necessary.

The problem that Photobucket created wasted 90% of the remotely hosted photos on the VDH message forum..Information at the link below

I did not know that. All I know is that it's an ad site now that even locks up my work computer (and that's pretty hard to do) -

Photobucket has decimated thousands of websites, forums and blogs and unless you are willing to cough up a kings ransom every year then photos are not going to show up. The time and resources it would take to go back though every post since 2005 on the VDH forum and re capture all the photos is something I cannot even begin to fathom.
Even if I did pay the fee (I won't ) Photobucket would still be a piece of garbage full of advertising, popups and re-directs. But there is nothing I can do about it right now.
The only alternative is for me to buy more space from our host so photos can have a home directly on the VDH forum. This will still not get back the mountain of great photos many of which were detailed explanations of service, repair, teaching moments etc that made the site great. No resource anywhere on the net could compete with the content here when it came to specific information on vintage scuba equipment.
At this point I lick my wounds, learn from the mistake and move on. If Photobucket can do it then so can any other photo hosting service with a few clicks of a mouse.
