Looking good, and looking forward to getting mine. My only "reservation" is the finite location of the cam band slots (they are not overly elongated to mesh up with various plates. While I do intend to use it on my VDH plate, I have others I would consider putting it on (OxyCheq "Dog Bone" and my DSS Kydex) where it completes a very light rig.... Hoping it matches up....

Counting the days....

The wing when used with the VDH plate has plenty of space to move it up or down. Luis looked at a lot of plates before he wrote the specs for it so it would work with the majority of the wings on the market and to the "loose" industry standards of alignment. Considering the wing is made by the company who make them for three of the largest sellers of wings in the business right now I have to rely on their expertise and reputation.

If it fails to meet expectations simply return it.

I received mine and installed it onto my VDH plate with no problems. I have not taken it for a dip yet, but I'm impressed with the quality and aesthetics. I also ordered an extra bladder and I can say the same about it's quality. The only issue, if you want to call it that, the elbow was clocked 180 degrees off. However, this gave me the chance to verify that the elbow and OPV components are interchangeable with tons of other wings hardware out there-and that's important to me.

Nice job Bryan.

Here it is on the right next to my Brand X 30 lb wing.

I rotated the elbows that way when I packed them just to be extra safe during shipping. The manufacturer sent them to me facing the correct way.
I appreciate the feedback on initial impressions of the wings after unpacking.

Finally got to play with the new wing
Have not dove it yetthe material is softer which makes it easier to tuck behind the reg
My first impressions
as stated it's smaller in size to the OXY 18#
the material is softer which makes it easier to tuck behind the reg
Mounted it to my plate
My inflator hose was not attached (no problem) put it on
Inflated the wing and let it sit, after 20 min noticed it was loosing air
Quick dip in the water revealed that the leak was at the hose to elbow connection
Not a fan of wire ties on the hoses
Replaced with clamps
All OK now
just need to get it in the water

Only had a chance to un-box it. Everything about it feels sturdy. The stitching is well done, so it is scoring high marks on finish. I need to retrieve my 30# and my 23# wings from "the cave", and compare them, but this seems quite a winner!

I need to splash with it..... soon.....

Now, shall I dive it with a DH or a SH???????

Yeah that's what I need, another backplate and wing setup. ......that is a good deal though.

As I was moving my wings and plates around to take pictures, I decided to try my old Aquacraft backpack. If only one camband is used my wings fit on that puppy too, and look pretty cool at that.

What, my first generation MK-II first and a 108 or Pilot (converted) as a second isn't acceptable? Maybe a healthways?

Truth be told, I love my Kraken and my DA & Royals, and have been diving them exclusively. Maybe it is time to mix things up.
