Vintage Double Hose

Hi,

I'm looking at the VHD Bouyancy System XS http://vintagedoublehose.com/index.php? ... ry=1874499. I have a question about the optional "Quick change stainless steel bands by Highland".

Can someone help me understand what these quick change bands are? Are they quick release shoulder straps?

If not, how do you quickly release your arms out of this system? From the detailed photos it seems the shoulder straps do not have any quick release mechanism.

The Highland Quick Change bands are tank bands.

The harness on the plate does not have shoulder releases.

With the plate in the proper position, there should be no problem removing your arms.

I drop my shoulder and can get out of the strap.
If not possible to do that, loosen the waist strap and a little upward movement of the BC should allow you plenty of room to remove your arms.
