Drysuit Sizing

Sat Mar 29, 2014 8:29 pm

I may have a chance to get a size XL DUI TLS 350 for a very good price. Problem is, the ideal size for me would be a standard Large or maybe Large Tall. Would the 2 or 3 inches of extra girth in chest, waist and hips cause any significant problems? This XL is really tempting because of the price, but don't want to invest in something that will cause me problems in the long run.

Thanks,
Steve

IMHO a little bigger in dry suits is not a bad thing. It will be easier to don and doff. You will also not be affected fit wise if you use heavier under garments. Large to and X large isn't that big of a jump.
