Vintage spirt plate & wing

Thu Sep 13, 2012 10:21 am

I finally got to use my new VDH plate set up that I bought back in July. I was initally worried about how I was going to work out may weights with a weight belt & croch strap. I attached my croch strap loop to my weight belt as Luis sugggested, used 2 - 5 lbs weights that I positioned on my hips and some Dive Rite pockets with 4 lbs. each on the upper tank bands. Worked out awesome. The only thing that bugs me is how the wing gets bunched up under the reg, but it doesnt seem to affect how it works. I just rotated the ring 180 deg. so the sharper edges and screw were positioned at 12:00.

Depending on the wing, I find that with mine, I'm able to get most of the top part behind the majority of the cans - so it ends up in the space between the cans and the top of the valve.
