DSV replacement

Fri Jan 06, 2023 1:43 pm

I'm not having any issues with my DSV. But, if I needed/wanted to have a replacement on hand what mouthpiece would work with the Kraken regulator?
It doesn't need to be a DSV. But if you know of one that won't kill be with the sticker shock please let me know.

Hi Jim,

If you are talking about just the mouthpiece itself on the VDH DSV then any mouthpiece that fist a single hose reg will fit the DSV.

If you are talking about replacing the DSV entirely with a DH mouthpiece (complete with wagon wheels and mushroom valves) then any 1.5" DH mouthpiece will work. The first Kraken Series had a USD curved mouthpiece on it. Rob at The Scuba Museum has them in stock.

Good luck,

Mark

I was referring to the entire DSV. I'll check out The Scuba Museum. I've recently bought a few things from them.
