Thanks,
That is great information. That is the information I need.
I can accommodate that valve easily with the redesign I have drawn. Now I just need to know if there are any bigger valves.
Thanks again.

Luis:
Keep in mind that "shoulder" on the valve handwheel.... (then again, just rotating the yoke off horizontal can avoid it....)

Another valve.
Never mind the crappy diagram. Listed are the correct dimensions.
Back to face = 1.070 in.
Width = 1.235 in.

Hey Automan,
Sorry, this is a Vintage forum.....no digital calipers allowed.

The XS scuba manifold, and the individual valves when used as singles valves, will not work with the kraken yoke unless you change the knobs out. The new vindicator knobs that come standard on all XS Scuba valves extend too close to the valve face and sit under the yoke when you attempt to mount it. I have mitigated this by installing the metal knobs off of the 1960's USD J and K valves like the one pictured here onto the XS Scuba manifold, and they fit perfectly:

Any news on a new yoke adapter for the Kraken?
Still keen to give my one a try in the Red Sea but I don't think it will go on any of their tank valves.

I have cropped some images of the tank valves from last years trip.
We are going on the same live-aboard again for two weeks at the end of October.
Based on the feedback on the Scubapro tank valves ones I'm not sure it will fit...

I should have a solution for you by mid September. Luis and Herman have done their part and now it's up to me to get the process and finish correct. For now you can use a standard Conshelf XIV yoke. Should be pretty easy to come by even in the UK. We ran across a Scubapro valve on a cylinder in Canada last month and put a Conshelf yoke on the Argonaut and it worked fine.

I will try and source one but reading
viewtopic.php?f=17&t=6880 can still have a problem with some tank valves...

I cant guarantee any yoke will fit ever cylinder valve produced worldwide. I'm doing the best I can with the limited information I have on valves overseas.
