Pile O’ Tanks

Wed Apr 17, 2019 8:15 pm

Over the last few weeks I have been doing some local hunting and accumulated a good number of tanks , mostly 72’s , 4 sets already doubled and came with new navy harnesses. Some singles and some smaller doubles.

Just received 2 quarts from ZRC one each of battleship gray and the silver hot dip galvanizing color. Battleship for the vintage and silver hot dip for modern.

Which hydro company are you trying to keep from going under?

Right, that is the issue. One place charges $48 a tank , but they know their stuff and there is never a problem. The other charges $20, but they fail half the tanks because it’s an old guy that has never gone for a refresher and makes up his own rules.

Well crap. Can you have another company retest? Ive heard they can give a little and fail then pass the next time even though they are bad.
