Kraken's corner

After collecting more and more of Herman's tools and spare parts, I found myself constantly pulling everything out of my undersized tool box to get that one part. Or emptying out big tubs of unused dive gear. I drove all over town looking for a used five drawer tool box. Then I went to the star of hope and saw this big four drawer filing cabinet. The wheels started turning.

How about a good photo of that old drill press? It looks about as old as mine, and very similar in shape.

I guess the drill press can be in the set. It has modified enough of my gear.

But I really wouldn't feel right about sharing my old drill press without my old lathe. If the lathe gets jealous....

The Bless-ed Myford...
- What better for a vintage diver than the classic Myford lathe. Man, that's a piece of historical precision and beauty all in one package. Thanks for showing it.
- Yes, I have to agree my collection of tools and parts is also hard to manage. I have them in a dresser with 6 shallow drawers. But that isn't big enough anymore so they'e in plastic bins, and boxes that I hide in the closet... So no one will know of my CLUTTER.

Very similar to my old drill press! It's been in the family back to my grandfather's working days, and I'd like to know how old it is. At a young age I learned the importance of securing small work pieces.

I got mine at a garage sale. The motor burnt out right after. I see you still have a motor comparable to the age of our dive gear.
