I use denatured alcohol from the hardware store. Works great and don't smell bad...at least to me. Never tried isopropyl rubbing alcohol

I'll give the denatured a try. I am not in a hurry so I will see what it does. It might be nice to have two matching cans so it doesn't look like a Frankenstein. :)


I have several NOS duckbills, should I even bother with them? I have the Duck Bill eliminator in a few of my twin hoses and a silicone Duckbill new in a bag. I was thinking of putting a Mistral back original. Would using a duckbill eliminator be too much of a faux pas in a Mistral.

I thought I remember seeing a Phoenix service diagram showing all the parts layout similar to a USD service manuals. Can anyone point me in that direction in the manuals section so I can print it out and add that info to my manual binder? Is it the same as the Conshelf XIV layout?
