I did a search, and didnt find any info on this topic. Ive seen some people using hose weights and some not. What is the intended purpose of the weights? Is it to make them more stream lined or is it something else?

Thanks

They are used to offset the buoyancy of the air filled hoses and make your loop more neutral. Helps to remove strain on the teeth and gums.

Ah ok, thanks. The only time I noticed any strain was when I had my hose alignment off. Lol but thanks to the hose alignment thread I corrected.

So far I don't know if I like the weights or not, I've tried two per hose and found it to be to much as it tends to flatten the hoses toward my shoulders, with two;

without any;

I may try one weight about 8" from the horns but for now I'm using the shorter silicone hoses
