Sun Dec 03, 2017 1:33 pm

Christmas came early this year with the recent arrival of my first double hose ! Hey folks ! I'm humbled and honored to be here, and to be a new member of this community. I can't wait to dive it ! I'm also open to any advice/suggestions from you salty dogs out there. Thanks for having me !Image

Welcome to the board and congrads on your new reg.
You have the finest double hose reg ever built and it will hold it's own against any other reg on the market today. That said, like any DH reg it does dive a little bit differently and needs to be properly placed to get the most out of it. On this site, You have access to the people who designed, tested and dove the prototypes of the reg as well as other very experienced DH divers. Don't hesitate to ask questions.

- Wow. You are starting out with the most technically advanced double hose ever made in the neatest special edition style yet to be offered. Those green accents are studly. Congratulations on acquiring such a beautiful regulator. I'm envious! :)

Very nice choice! Herman has provided the best (as always) guidance to learn what you need to adjust for to get the best out of these regulators. Search the forum, and ask the questions. The guys here are a great bunch and a wealth of knowledge.

A word of caution. I went your route, and my first DH was a Kraken (part of the first generation backers). It is so much a joy to dive, I now have 3 "quasi-vintage" DH regulators with various upgrade parts installed.

It is an addictive experience....

Enjoy!
Bob
