The Sinking of the Andrea Doria

Wed Nov 15, 2017 11:41 pm

If you guys have Amazon Prime (which all of you should because it is amazing) there is an awesome documentary on the history and sinking of the SS Andrea Doria. It’s called The Sinking of the Andrea Doria, and you should check it out. You can watch it for free with Prime.

Doing it right should include some common sense, not just blindly following specs and instructions. .Gary D, AWAP on SB

I didn't realize that they ended up finding out definitively that the Stockholm was at fault. That's probably pretty heavy for that Third Officer.

Thanks Ron,

That was an interesting watch.

Amazon has another interesting documentary you may enjoy, "Azorian: The Raising of the K-129."
