Wow, Sam, Bryan and now Robert, all within the last 6 months. My condolences to his wife Julie and the rest of Robert's family.

Yes, Bryan and now Robert

I really enjoyed diving and going on dive trips with both of them.

This is very sad.

Robert was always extremely helpful when I was in the process of tackling a Scubapro project. His knowledge base was exceptional, and he will truly be missed.

I lost my parents when I was young, and have tried my best to live my life well. Make every effort to spend quality time with loved ones and friends, as there’s no guarantee about tomorrow.

Robert was from New Orleans and worked for local scuba legend Roland Reviere at Roland's New Orleans Skin Diving school in the 70's and 80's. Sorry to hear this.

Someone just send me this article. I never heard this story, but I am not surprised. This is just like Robert.

Take a look at page 16 on this link.

For those of you who are not military men then Technical Sergeant Robert Couvillion risked his own life to rescue a downed Airman and received the Airman's Medal which is the highest peace time award for heroism in the United States Air Force. He received the award April 6th, 1986.

Here is to us, and those like us.
The impossible missions are the only ones which succeed. -JYC
