I like the Aquala product line. If I was to buy one, it would be a drysuit as I dive in water as cold as the mid 30's. I need a front zip though. A back zipper just won't make it for me. I'd rather be able to don the suit without help from others. I'm glad the hood is an option. My first drysuit was a Unisuit with an attached hood. What a pain. I'd much rather use my Otter Bay hood and be able to deal with the neck seal with out the confusion of the attached hood. Just my Dos Centavos...
Jim, we can easily build a suit in a front zip configuration. We can do either horizontal across the chest, or diagonally across the chest. I prefer horizontal as opposed to diagonal, but that’s just personal preference.
I also prefer the neck-seal with a seperate neoprene hood. It’s more versatile unless there are contaminated water issues. That’s why we build them both ways.
