Mouthpiece plug question

Tue Sep 09, 2014 5:49 am

Where is the most convenient place to hang the plug while the mouthpiece is in use? I use a backplate/harness and wing setup.

TIA

I have been using a mini carabiner and clip it to my waist strap D ring.
Doing it right should include some common sense, not just blindly following specs and instructions. .Gary D, AWAP on SB

A little tape and some nylon cord keeps it in place right on the hose set. I did that in Cozumel last year and it worked just fine.

I bought a lanyard and some split rings and put mine around my neck. Seems to be right handy there.

I did the same thing as tall78: I bought a reg necklace from the store and tied the plug to it, similar to how I tie a clip onto my back-up lights. It works really well.

I did forget my neck lace a couple of times and so I added second to my harness. It lives on my right shoulder D-ring now.

I just tie mine to a bolt snap with a short piece of cave line and clip it to a shoulder d-ring.

Of course, this is now history as the Argonaut DSV has arrived.

AMEN!! The picture is "The Epitome" photo of a modern organized double hose diver's set up. Kudos and Platitude to Nemrod! :D Though he has all modern equipage, he appears streamlined and un-fettered, perfect.
