VDH / Tampa Scuba Service

Fri Jun 24, 2011 10:20 pm

Airbank and NITROX continuous blending are finally all setup and ready for business. Jim Sheldon at Sheldons Sporting Goods helped me a ton getting it up and going. If you need parts or have questions about small compressor setups he can really help you out and his prices are much cheaper than any on line site I could find. Plus he does it all himself and you can pick up the phone and talk with him anytime. Here is a link to his shop.

I sent an air sample to Trace Analytics who does the testing for PADI and IANTD....Even after running for 6 hours straight at Sea Hunt, using the same cartridge and oil it passed the O2 clean air certification by a good margin. I thank Captain for all his advice on keeping my compressor at 100%.

I have already made a couple of local shops unhappy but I expected that.....Thanks for letting me show off a little

My Compressor

I use a Lawrence Factor cartridge filter now since I run it a lot more and may be called on to prove filter changes. Trace Analytics does my quarterly air quality testing and they couldn't be much better with this type of compressor. Results are posted on the Tampa Scuba Service facebook page.

Fantastic compressor so far!
