Scuba Heritage Days White Star Ohio Sept 17th and 18th

As you all know Portage Quarry is no longer around. The owner has bulldozed all of Jeff Rice's hard work and it is no longer a dive venue for us  I have been speaking with Rich Synowiec who runs the diving concession at White Star and he has graciously offered up his quarry for a similar event that he is calling Scuba Heritage Days. The details are a little thin at the moment but the dates are set for Sept 17th and 18th. We will have the usual swap meet of old dive gear as we did last year and there may even be some dive shoppes coming to sell of their old dive junk to the crazy guys that like two hose regs. The water should be nice and warm and many of us know White Star from last year. They have a nice compressor and small dive shoppe on location and some decent stuff to dive in the quarry including a cool concrete "tunnel.' Stay tuned to VDH for more details and please spread the word for us to Scubabrd and other places.

Well, Bryan is getting his jet plane ticket to Ohio for the event. Who else is coming to dive in the 60 foot viz at White Star? Ok, I may be a few feet off on the viz.

I am pretty sure the Cow will be coming with free Kemp chocolate milk for all attendees as well.

I originally thought that I couldn't make it, but it looks promising at this point.

I think I met you last year, Greg? I remember Rob and Roger, and probably a couple others that if I saw them in person...
I had one vintage reg, a Mistral. Looking forward to hooking up with you all again this year.
