Same video with one scene added!

By the way, this video was shot entirely with the new Intova Sport camera's.

Thanks for posting the video Jim; I really enjoyed it. Even though the weather and vis were lousy that weekend I still had a great time; it's always nice to see everyone! :D Terry

Nice job Jim; considering the vis, the picture quality came out very good.

I always enjoy Jim's video work. I think he had a lot of help from Bob T Cat on this one. :D

To say that the camera's did the quarry justice is an understatement. The viz sucked. Wish you were with us Herman, but underwater anyway you missed little. Seeing all the troops was the fun part. Everyone met at the Best Western and bought beer. It was almost embarrassing how little got drank. We really needed all the VDH'ers we could muster. I did my part, but I am but a cog in the machine. Your presenence was missed!

Great video Jim,

I really enjoyed finally seeing what soup we were diving in. This year's gathering was once again a success in getting us all together to swap stories and gear, as well as try out some of the best equipment from the 1950s and 60s. Can't wait for next year's Legends of Diving.

That's too funny..., as that happens to be my ultimate measure of success as well... For my wife to make it through one of my stories without having some kind of "oh.. I forgot to go and..." or at the very least, several eye-rolls is extremely extremely unusual... something on the order snowball under a blue moon in hell... on a leap year... But I have to say that the Mrs. not only made it through all 10 minutes of the first one, but she even sat still through cut two!?!?!? :o :?

Jim, you are CLEARLY a CINEMATIC GENUS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Looking forward to a cameo in a future production :!:

Nice video SwimJim! Composition is one thing and video quality is another... This thing had both... Told the story nicely. How would you compare the video quality of the Intova against your regular camera rig?

I don't have enough experience with the Intova to really give it a fair assessment yet. From the little I have used so far the picture quality appears to be pretty decent. The audio has a high pitched squeal to it. That comes through in the video. I'm working on that in editing to try and find a solution.
I'll say one thing, it's a handy little rig and if it implodes on me at depth, it doesn't hurt the wallet anything close to the Sony. LOL
