Vintage Double Hose

I've just added a lot of new valve parts and valve service kits to the website store. Hell of a price on 3/8" 2250 burst discs!

I have a couple that could do with a full overhaul...

I'm not aware of any source for vintage J valve parts. If you can point me to a distributor or manufacturer I'll see what I can do.
Other than the reserve side, most valves can be rebuilt with the parts in the website store currently.

Yes, it is the J reserve seat, spring and mechanism that has me stumped too... it seems they were not regularly overhauled vs the other valve parts.

I guess the old J reserve seat could be removed carefully and measured, then new ones CNC machined out of the same material that the usual HP valve seats are made from?

If the J reserve mechanism is anything like the primary valve seat there shouldn't be too many sizes to cater for... I will have a look at a Heathways J valve on the weekend.

One of the challenges to doing this is that most of the seats in the reserve mechanism are pressed in and the edge rolled around them to insure they stay in place. If it were a simple matter of removing and pressing in a new seat then X size seats could be made and replaced by the user but with the rolled edge it creates a much larger challenge.
