Thats interesting...what would you use it for?? The spacing doesn't apprear to be enough for anything but a couple of very small tanks.

Looks perfect for 2 spare-airs! :D

Is that a 1/2" taper thread on that?

Appears to be 1/2" taper. The two ends possibly came from another brand of manifold. With a lathe it would not be very hard to do. Spacing looks to be maybe 5 inches.

40 or 50 years ago someone must've said "Hey lookie what I made here! This ought to confuse people later on in the future!" :D

I think they were mfg for something. I have one like it, albeit I have cannibalized a few parts:

US Divers made them when they were in the SCBA (fire fighting, etc) business, or business attempt. They had two small white cylinders.

I don’t know anything else about them other that I remember seeing them in a catalog… I think it was early 70’s

At the time they also were also affiliated with Kirby Morgan and used to sell the band masks under the US Divers commercial division brand name… or something like that.

Luis, you jogged my memory, I do recall Surviveair scba being part of USD back in the day and seeing the little twin cylinder unit.

I remember seeing this in the 70's with two small white cylinders, advertised as bailout rig for a surface supplied Kirby Morgan Band Mask. It may have been in a separate flyer on commercial gear instead of their main catalog.
