Anybody pumping air out there?

What's happening out there in the exciting world of privately owned SCUBA compressors? I ran mine (RIX SA6) up last week as a precursor to spring diving. IMHO it's not good to let o rings, seals, motors, bearings, etc. sit too long as static display. After about two minutes it was humming like a sewing machine. Come on warm spring days..
