New Royal-Aqua Master project

Hope everyone in Florida has battened down the hatches and is staying safe.

It's been a while since I've been on here. Still diving double hose regulators when I am not on my rebreather (on a loop one way or another!) but I got a nice little garage find today that has re-sparked my interest.

A pretty clean Aqua-Lung Royal AquaMaster (vintage 1970-1973 I think based on serial) and a set of PST LP45 1800psi doubles (original hydro 1972). It will be the most "modern" regulator in my double hose collection. This will make a nice fall/winter project.

Now to dust off the regulator tools, order some service kits and remove some terrible C-Clips.. It looks like I've missed quite a lot and need to catch up on the latest creation of Luis and Bryan! New Kraken and DSVs. Exciting.

I may have done a similar tank project. Check out http://vintagedoublehose.com/forum/view ... =41&t=9070

My loop hoses for my rebreather. They are called cooper hoses. A lot of rebreather divers use them because they are smoother bore so easier to clean and in theory slightly better work-of-breathing (debatable) than stock rebreather rubber hoses

Those came out great! I've got another set of LP50s sitting in basement with a Voit manifold that I need to do something with at some point. One of them was a bit pitted in the bottom unfortunately so I never rebuild them but I'm going to have it tumbled again and re-inspect it.
