Today has been a great day for me. I just received my reg labels for my 3 RAM's, and my DA. And they look awesome!!! Many thanks to Jerry Moseman. When its all done, I'll be sure to post some pics. I have just received a La Spirotechnique Mistral so I have to get a label for that one too. Guys, get these labels. They make your regs look brand new!!!
I think this is important for us to use and publicly display our regs in their best condition. You never get a second chance to make a first impression.
In addition, my Medi Double hose came in too. I was thinking of overhauling it but now I think I will just clean and preserve it. The hoses and the box are secured with string and wire and it is kept that way with a lead or plastic seal. I am sure that I will reduce its value by tampering with it. I dive all my regs so this is a first for me.

I just got this one from Jerry....He has put the serial # on it the same as it will be on the Phoenix nozzle! How cool is that! He has done a couple for my Spirotechnique Mistrals that are every bit as nice as the originals.

Just as an aside, regarding the Spirotechnique Mistral -- the nozzle seems to be a bit too wide to fit on any of my tank valves. Should I shave it down to fit or is there a special valve to go with it?
By the way, the mouthpiece seems to be a great design, very comfortable and practical. Overall, the rubber is amazingly supple. I was going to keep the mushroom valves but one fell apart with handling. To get Bryan's valves to fit, I had to drill the hole in the wagonwheel with progressively wider bits. Then, using silicone grease and a paper towel, I was able to pull them through. I then snugged up the other side by slipping two O-rings, #60, over the cone shaped part of the mushroom valve and I was good to go. It works great.
With Jerry's label, this reg will really look the part. Can't wait to get it done.

That's awesome! What a really neat touch to top-off the Phoenix nozzle.

Nozzles on most Spirotechnique regulators are too large for most US cylinder valves and need to be turned down to work....If you can handle it yourself go for it! If you need assistance, E-mail Tom Madere.

Tom did mine for me and now I am the coolest kid in the water with my French mistral.

Bryan,
Will these labels be available in your store or just directly from Jerry?

Just directly from Jerry....Kinda like Robs T-shirts and Allans cylinder harness, Karl's cylinders stickers... Cuts out the middle man....i.e. ME. It lets the guys that came up with the idea keep 100% of the proceeds from the sale.

Ok, 2 and a half regs. The other half was still being adjusted.
The Regs look brand new and vintage doesn't even cross the minds of onlookers. I've gotten questions like, "Is that a rebreather?" or, "What is that?"
Thanks again to Mr. Moseman and Mr. Pennington for making it all possible.
