Double hose class and helmet diving

Mon Jun 20, 2016 7:04 am

I apologize for the YouTube canned music, but my Mac is acting up. This video was made at the Historical Diving Society Rally in Australia. The beginning shows the training class and helmet diving, followed by a pool session with double hose gear. The members got a class room lecture on the history and maintenance of double hose scuba, then headed to the local pool.

That looked like a whole lot of fun! I absolutely love those dive helmets, always have. My father has had a model one on his bar (being a navy man) since i was little. It's also a relief to see there's a lot of interest in Australia for all things vintage. I was beginning to worry!
