In preparation for Sea Hunt Forever this year, I went ahead and cracked the egg, as it were, and the amount of salt residue in here is hard to convey in a photograph... It's impressive. It did breathe pretty well, I swear, but it looks like yet another project, and a low-priority one at that.

Since it's the can lid I'm most fond of, and since it's on the wrong body anyway, I'm thinkin this may be one of my easier jobs... in that I may just move this top over onto my Mistral for a while and call 'er good.

Thanks to those who chimed in previously about what it was I really had; you were right on the mark.
