Vintage Double Hose

Is there any documentation on Voit 2 hose regs that tell what models used black and what used grey hoses? Did all the navy regs use grey?

Sea Hunt Jerry is a Voit whiz....Perhaps he will chime in and tell us.....I belive the Voit Navy always had gray hoses.

Didn't the first model of the Trieste also have gray hoses as well?

Advertisements for the early Trieste models show black hoses on the reg. Eary catalogs also show black hoses.

Hi,
All of the voit Navy double hose,and Fifty fathom regulators had pearl gray hoses and mouthpieces.

The Mistral version aka the voit Polaris had both gray and later black hoses and mouthpieces.You can see the voit Polaris in action in Thunderball when they are dressing on the Wall.
The trieste from day one black hose and mouthpiece assembly.

Thanks for setting the record straight on the Voit hose colors.

I have seen early Trieste regulators with gray hoses and always thought that was original. Guess it was simply the owners preference.
