A diver on SB posted this picture with this info US Divers also offered a delta-pack set of triple 72s in the late 1960.
I have never seen nor heard of them before...If any of you catalog junkies can share a good quality scan and any info in the catalog on them I'd appreciate having it for the archives.

I wonder if this is why the old USD cheater bar had that plug in the bottom of the center outlet?

The hole up from the bottom was a necessary part of the machining process when manufacturing the tie bar. It had to be plugged so they used a common port plug to do it.

I didn't know that Tom, thanks

it is always nice to have a machinist around to answer these types of questions.
Have you ever seen any bands like the ones in the above picture?

Looks to me like they just used two sets of doubles bands. The top one is on the right tank and the lower is on the left.

What about the flexible hose and yoke fitting? Anyone ever seen anything like that before? Maybe a common HP whip?

I think it was steel tubing that connected the tank and tie bar. This is a really simple setup to duplicate. I have machined similar yoke fittings for my compressor fill whips.

I'm going to borrow an engine hoist from a Friend. If I make them who will wear them? They may have to go to a museum somewhere.

Seriously I'm making them.
