Use a small rod that is the same size as the hole that the pin goes in to push it out. The hole in the orifice is smaller so the rod won't go through it. You might even need to tap it with a small hammer if it been in since day one.

Soak the 1st stage in penetrating oil for a day or so and then go with what what Tom said. I have tried boiling it in water for a while and then punching it out but I think the penetrating oil works better.
Once it's out be sure and clean the bore of the 1st stage thoroughly as there is likely saltwater corrosion buildup where the orifice was seated. Bore needs to be smooth all the way to the base. Just takes a little patience.

I had a wooden dowel in the garage and it slid right out with no trouble. I gave it a bath and boy does it look pretty. I ended up getting the European banjo fitting so the nozzle wont need turned.

Put a bit of silicone grease on the Oring....wipe 95% of it off. Nothing else on the regulator needs lubricant.
