Two Stage Cutaway

Here is the 2 stage cutaway. This one is a Pico DA Aqua-Master. The 1st stage parts are identical in the Trademark, Broxton, DA Navy, DA Navy Approved and the DA Aqua-Master. The Royal Aqua-Master 1st stage is A WHOLE LOT DIFFERENT! As soon as I run across a RAM 1st stage that has a damaged volcano orifice I will cut it in half so you can see how it differs.
The DA Aqua-Master and the Royal Aqua-Master use the same 2nd stage assembly and parts as is shown on this regulator….The earlier regulators used a horseshoe lever assembly with two springs and a pin to pivot against and is completely different.
Photos are large and you can zoom in for detail….Sorry I’m not a better macro photographer. ENJOY!

Cut a ways

There were three in the set.. the missing one is the early single hose Calypso. The model with the metal mouth piece
The double hose also had the hoses attatched and cut a way to demonstrate the non returns etc.
I have all three..Tommy Thompson gave them to me. They had been made by US Divers as a training aid but just didn't sell. Too much $$$$???
The company that made them was a small machine shop in Fountain Valley who also made the Manta CO2 powered spear gun of the 1950s.

I just discovered I do not have the single stage reg--must have loaned it to my son...so how about sending yours to me and I will have a complete set...
FYI I also have three spearguns that were cut a way.. a JBL, Spear Fisherman (Swimaster) and a Arabelete (US Divers)...Strange the things that you aquire along life's path.
