To build a better travel bar

Just a matter of time before I finally won one of these things, mines 7 1/4" face to face and a drop of 7/8" with light yokes and sealing faces cut a bit small.
This got me to thinking, why not build a travel bar with say 2" of drop to really get our double hoses down where they breath easy?
While we are at it how bout a 7/16" port for a SPG?

Use one of Allans harnesses and you can put your cylinders as low on your back as you like!
Vintage gauges never came in 7/16"

True, but if one wants the reg lower but the weight higher a harness won't help.

How about building one with DIN fittings for the tanks and a yoke block for the regulator. I know it's not "vintage" but from using one that was all DIN, I know they are secure.

Iv'e thought bout that, but with only one AL80 thats DIN it dosn't seem worth it for me. For somebody that rents tanks that are DIN it would be spiffy, like two Catalina AL40 ponys.
