I see some Da's made in Pico Boul. some in warner, and avrious other places.

Some seem to command higher prices than other, even though they all look the same. Is there one place of manufactruring which was higher quality than others?

How would they be rated as far as desireability./collectability # 1, 2, 3 etc. of the many double hoses made by aqualung, whihc one would or should be the first in any collection?

lastly what makes one made one place and another made elswhere more valuable if this is the case.

This is just my OPINION. I see no difference in quality on any year DA. What seems to drive the price is the condition of the lable and if the regulator is chrome or brushed finish. If the lable is near perfect and the chrome looks good it will sell for quite a bit more than a comparable regulator with the brushed finish.

Then there is always the broxton address.......While the DA Aquamaster was not made there that address seems to bring a lot of coin....Just ask BROXTON CHUCK who has one for sale...... 8)

The DA was manufactured in Chicago by B & B. It was assembled in California.

The US Diver's addresses for the DA were
1) Broxton,
2) Pico
(both Los Angeles, California)

The last time the DA part number # 1000 was listed in the US Diver's Catalog was in 1958, page 3

The first time the Aqua Master, part #1010 appeared in a US Divers catalog was also 1958. also on page 3.

US Divers also had the following addresses
1) West Delhi Avenue, Santa Ana, (August 1960 to early 1961)
2) West Warner Avenue, Santa Ana (1961 to?)
(both were located in Orange county, California)

West Warner Avenue was extended to Harbor Blvd where it joined with with West Delhi Avenue which at that time there was a name change to West Warner Avenue. West Delhi was eliminated as a OC street.

Regulators with the West Delhi address label were produced only for about a year and are considered very rare. They would be the 1010 Aqua Master, 1020 Jet Air, and the 1008 Mistral.
