Got a DA Navy in for an oil change and found this engraved on the underside of the top can.

I think thats pretty cool. I've found simular things when I've done flooring tearouts. I once found a business card left by a carpet guy who had written the date of installation. It was July 4th 1988. Not near as old as this reg of course, but the guy was working on a holiday and was probably under the gun. Been there. I once stained a sixhundred foot floor on Christmas day. Never again.

One of my Mistrals has "Rx 11-26-60" etched inside the top and bottom boxes. The name and address on yours is pretty neat, being more personalized. I see things like that and wish I could locate the person to share the memories.

I found a real spiffy radio controlled model boat by an old marine railway we were tearing out, it was buried in gumbo mud about 4' below the bottom & the paint looked as fresh as when it was lost.
I checked into the guy's name that was painted on it & found he'd passed away about 20 years before.
Tip: Do a search on the Social Security deceased list before making any phone calls.
