Rare Swiss Double Hose

This one belongs to Rob....He's looking for information about it. Very unusual!! Any info most appreciated.

There something odd about that regulator fitting. It kind of looks like a DIN fitting, but there is no O-ring or O-ring groove.
I do have an old Draeger twin tank manifold from a set of 1957 tanks that had a DIN fitting with a Phenolic washer rather than an O-ring, is this supposed to be the same or is it a different fitting?

Rob,
After I left your house I started thinking about that odd fitting...I don't know if the threads are even the same as that of a standard 200bar DIN fitting. It makes me wonder if the reg was designed for some unique valve fitting similar to what some of the EU nitrox tanks currently wear.

Greg, I will tell you what. That is a good idea. I still need to locate a din tank to see if it even fits one. I was hoping that one of out European members would have something to say, but I guess this thing is even rare to them?
