Argonaut Assembly

Sat Apr 30, 2016 1:28 pm

I had a little time to work on the blog today. I'll try to get the whole process documented before I start assembly on all the new ones.

Thanks Bryan! BTW - with the amount of time, effort, and care you put into these, you don't make enough on these regulators (but thanks for pricing them where they are at :D ) Loving mine since the day I got involved in the project through the funding campaign!

The orings on the screws, simply to make assembly easier, right? Just wanted to be 99% sure instead of 98%.

Now that I think about it, I guess since the screws are non shouldered, and assuming the screws are not to be overly tight against a plastic can, the orings would help keep the screw from unscrewing if one came loose.

IIRC, Luis hates losing/dropping small parts, so the captured screws were a best practice...

The screws are to capture the screws. When you open the cans, the screws don’t fall off the front can.

I don’t like loose hardware.
Loose hardware = lost hardware.
