Sorry about that....Had not heard that you decided to go for sure!
Looks like a winner of a double hose regulator. Can't wait to see final results on the test dives. Might even convince me to shelf my Royal Aqua-Master/Phoenix set up for a Argonaut from Vintage Double hose.

I have put a number of dives on one of the prototype bodies in Roatan and Bonaire earlier in the year (DA cans) and another 15 or so in Coz with the new cans. It really is a good breathing reg. The inhalation characteristics are close to a well tuned Phoenix with a HPR (better but close) and better placement of the LP and HP ports. That said, IMO the real improvement is in the exhaust. It is a lot better and no duck bills to mess with. My PRAM will def become my second choice if for no other reason than the cool factor of the Argonaut.

On January 10th I will launch a Kickstarter campaign to raise funds necessary to put the Argonaut Kraken into production. Up until now I have funded new projects from website sales and service work and it has worked pretty well in most cases. With the potential this one has to reach so many new divers I would like to have the resources on hand to satisfy the demand and to promote it on a much larger scale than I have done before.

Kickstarter lets everyone jump in with the team for the big win. If you are in individual investor and wish to discuss other options and would consider investing on a larger scale please get in touch with me by E-mail.

Will you be offering a version with 300Bar (4300PSi) DIN tank connection rather than 232Bar (3300PSi) Yoke?

Also will the Yoke clamp fit over the valve of a DIN valve scuba tank with a Yoke adapter in it?

Most if not all tanks now on sale in Europe have DIN tank valves.

I myself have over 12 tanks, some from the 1970's so not really a problem for me but it may boost sales if a 300Bar DIN version was available (if its not already).

Also, are you going for EN250 approval?

No DIN is planned.

The few that I have tried it on seem to work fine.

No

The Conshelf DIN conversion will fit the Argonaut and the Aqua Lung Titan can be adapted to fit. Both of those fittings can be obtained from an Aqua Lung dealer.

The new Argonaut Yoke. It looks like gold but its polished brass ready for coating. Shown on an XS Scuba DIN insert valve. I think Luis gave it a pressure rating of a gozillion psi
