Phoenix at 200'

Sun Sep 09, 2012 12:29 pm

Hello Bryan,
Your phoenix RAM is amazing!! I used it in my first dive.....I put the RAM in the right side in my doubles......everything was OK!!!! 200 ft in Nagano Marun....no problems....breathing very easy!!
The internet in Truk is horrible...I will put some pics and video and more information as soon as I come back to Brazil.
Best,
Adair

Two hundred feet, now that's deep! Adair may have the Phoenix record, I do not know. Looking forward to pictures.

Not only his first dive with that regulator, but his first dive ever with a double hose and he takes it down to 200ft… I like it… talk about a trusting fellow… 8)
Yeah, I know he did have an alternate regulator, but still…

Awesome display of engineering talent. 200' on a Phoenix! Now that is using a double hose as Captain Cousteau intended. So when is Adair diving the Britannic?
Too DAAM Many double hoses, It's not a hobby, it's an addiction.

Adair, sounds like a fantastic trip. Good to hear the Phoenix worked well atthat depth (And impressive try out dive). Thanks for the pic's. I intend to head back there next year.
The Budha in your pic's - is that from the Oite? I recall one being on the stern part of that wreck but there wasn't a skull next to it (At 60 metres+ on air maybe it was). Can you tell us what lights you are using - major cluster of LEDs. Lumens? Rgds.

Again, thanks for sharing. It is good to see divers actually diving this stuff at significant depth and exotic sites. Great photos.

Yes...that picture was from Oite (63 metres)...Maybe the skull was put there for others.
There was (my trip from 2008) the bell of the OITE too...but now it has been TAKEN! No one knows who took it but it is now gone!
I use a Light Motion lights....two heads...2000 lumens each one
