Vintage Double Hose

I just finished Frogmen First Battles by William Schofield and P.J. Carisella. This is an excellent account of the Italian naval frogmen in WW2. Courage and innovation certainly knows no boundries. Next up on reading list is Naval Frogmen: Wartime Underwater Operators by T.J. Waldron to get a view of the British exploits in this area. I read this 40+ years ago in a small paperback and I remember it was
very informative also.

I have several WWII Frogman books but I don't remember that one.....Along the same lines..another book in my library that I cannot read is this one.

You may not be able to read it but is is worth a lot of Deutsche Marks ! I will trade you my copy of Safe Scuba for it.

It looks like German Combat Divers by Michael Jung is available from Amazon. Perhaps same book in English?

Originally published in Germany under the title Sabotage unter Wasser: Die deutschen Kampfschwimmer im Zweiten Weltkrieg, this volume covers every conceivable aspect of the development of combat diving in the Wehrmacht, including the technical development of the equipment, the history and organization of the troops who used it, and the actual operations in which they were deployed.

The original German title translates literally as "Sabotage Underwater: German Combat Swimmers in the Second World War." The American publisher appears not only to have changed the wording of the title but also to have used different photographs on the cover:
